AEROWAVES ARTISTS’ CALL
International Artist Calls, August 2026
Aerowaves is seeking twenty emerging choreographers based in geographical Europe.
You can now apply to become an Aerowaves artist with the opportunity to have your work presented at the Spring Forward festival next year from 14-17 April 2027 in Limerick (IE), and also by many of our Aerowaves partners around Europe.

K3 RESIDENCY PROGRAMME 2027/28
K3 provides three paid eight-month residencies to choreographers who are at the beginning of their career and have produced multiple choreographic works of their own. The residency begins in August 2027 and runs until April 2028. It includes a scholarship, the use of the studios, a production budget, as well as dramaturgical, technical, and production related support.
During the season 27/28, K3 and Kampnagel are undergoing renovations. Studios will be available throughout the residency and the premieres will be shown in theatres across the city or in non-theatrical spaces.
The goal of the residency is to develop and strengthen the connections between choreographic practice, research, artistic production, and qualification. The duration of eight months should provide sufficient time and space for overcoming conventional rhythms of production and open up opportunities for exchange with other artists.

PERFORM EUROPE
Perform Europe, the forward-looking European funding scheme for cross-border touring in the performing arts sector, has launched its third Open Call, offering €1.4 million in total to support innovative touring proposals across 41 Creative Europe countries.
Who can participate?
The call is open to performing arts professionals and organisations based in 41 Creative Europe countries , applications must be submitted by partnerships comprising at least three partners from three different Creative Europe countries. Proposals must include at least one finished performing arts work from circus, dance, outdoor arts, performance art, puppetry or theatre (excluding live music and opera) to be presented in a minimum of three Creative Europe countries. Selected projects can tour between 1 March 2027 and 31 January 2028.
Priorities of the call
The call encourages partnerships to propose touring proposals that can lead to real change in the sector, with a focus on Perform Europe’s priorities:
Inclusion and diversity
Fight against climate change
Particular attention will be given to proposals involving underrepresented regions and communities. In addition, all proposals should aim for quality and innovation, be built on fair practices and are encouraged to promote collaboration across different regions within Creative Europe.
Funding
Partnerships can apply for grants of: €15,000, €25,000 or €55,000. In addition, applicants may request top-up funding up to €5,000 to support accessibility and sustainability measures. 5% of the total funding available will be dedicated to proposals involving Ukraine.
