The Gala Closing of the 37th TANEC PRAHA is around the corner
It may seem unbelievable, but the 37th edition of the TANEC PRAHA festival is coming to an end. However, it will not be just any ending. LOVETRAIN2020 urgently asks the question: where will this train take us? Where else but to love. And love has many forms, just like dance, which we so love.
The last day of the festival could not take place anywhere else, but in Prague, in one of the largest theatres the city has to offer, the Karlín Musical Theatre. The acclaimed Israeli choreographer Emanuel Gat has lived in France for several years now, working with an international team of amazing dancers, the abilities of whom we have been able to witness before - in 2018 with the performance Sunny, which was accompanied with live music by Awir Leon to make for an outstanding evening.
What awaits us on the 26th of June, at 20:00, in Karlín? A geyser of love - for dance, people and ourselves. A nostalgic return to the 80s - with Tears for Fears. Costumes with a dose of extravagance, as well as an understanding of what a dancer needs - their designer, Thomas Bradley, had a career as a dancer with Emanuel. Most of all, however, the uniqueness and individuality of each dancer awaits us - Emanuel never dictates “steps,” on the contrary, he works with mature personalities, who have their own input to offer. He offers a space, and a clear frame, a concept/.
The exhilarating ending to the festival comme il faut!
